Hours: Full-Time; 40 Hours weekly. Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Check-in/Greeting Patients/ Patient Scheduling
  • Acknowledges and welcomes patients and visitors.
  • Sets the tone for a positive experience
  • Check in and schedules appointments, following sleep scheduling protocol 
  • Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone
  • Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned
  • Reviewing schedule
  • Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol
  • Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day."
  • Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
  • Exam Preparation
  • Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate. 

Qualifications

Education/Certification/License:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in scheduling is preferred.
  • Must have prior computer experience. 
  • Position requires constant and frequent judgment and response. 
  • Must have excellent communication and grammar skills. 
  • Must be detail oriented. 
  • Must have good follow through, be able to multi-task, and possess sound judgment.
